All-In or Fold (AOF) is a fast-action poker format built for adrenaline-seekers and short-stack specialists. Instead of the usual sequence of pre-flop, flop, turn and river decisions, players are given only two choices each hand: go all-in preflop or fold. There are no post-flop decisions at all — the hand ends the moment players are all-in and the community cards run out.
That single change reshapes the entire dynamic of the game. Removing every decision but one strips away slow play and deep-stack maneuvering, and replaces it with something closer to a pure equity race — every hand becomes a compressed, high-stakes coin-flip decision built on push/fold ranges rather than multi-street reads.
Each player starts with a small, fixed stack — usually between 8 and 12 big blinds (but can be configured according to the operator's preference) — which keeps ranges wide and the action constant. AOF works equally well in Hold'em or Omaha, and is especially effective as a cash game or Sit & Go format. Because every hand plays out to showdown almost immediately, it also compresses far more hands — and far more accumulated rake — into the same amount of table time.
