Multi Flights Tournaments

Multiple qualifiers, one field. Players choose the Day 1 tournament that fits their schedule, and every survivor lands on the same Day 2, inspired by WSOP Main Event format.

Several qualifier tournaments (Flights) merge to same Day 2

Multi-Flight Tournaments spread a single event across multiple starting days, called flights (often labelled Day 1A, 1B, 1C, and so on). Every flight plays down from the same starting stack and structure, and every player who survives their flight — regardless of which one they played — advances into a single combined Day 2, where the tournament continues as normal down to a winner.

This is the format behind the WSOP Main Event and most other major live and online series: instead of forcing the entire field to show up on one day, the tournament opens several starting flights, letting players pick whichever day fits their schedule.

With our system you can allow players to re-enter on a later flight if they bust early, with only their best surviving stack carrying forward into Day 2, extra chances to qualify, more revenue from tournament fees. But not just that, our Multi Flight Poker Tournament system comes with an option to merge the chips of the qualified players into a single mass, if they qualified on multiple flights.

The format exists to solve a simple logistics problem: a huge field can't all fit at the tables — or in the room — on a single starting day. By splitting the field across flights, operators can run a massive event on manageable daily numbers, while still building toward one unified final field and one final prize pool. Online poker doesn't face that same table-count constraint, but the format has been carried over anyway, because it still gives far more players a chance to join the tournament — including those who didn't make it through Day 1A.

Multiple starting flights

Several starting days feed the same event, each running the identical stack and structure.

Merge chips option

With this option players who qualify on multiple flights, get to boost their stacks on Day 2 as they transfer remaining chips from all qualifiers.

One combined field

Every flight's survivors merge into a single Day 2 — same tournament, same prize pool, same final table.

The WSOP Main Event format

The same structure used to run the world's biggest live tournaments on a manageable daily footprint.

Setting it up from the admin panel

Operators build a Multi-Flight Tournament by defining the starting flights first, then setting the rules for how survivors merge into Day 2.

1

Set the number of flights

Choose how many starting flights the event runs (e.g. Day 1A, 1B, 1C) and schedule each one's date and start time.

2

Define the shared structure

Set one starting stack, blind schedule and level length that applies identically across every flight, so no flight plays an easier or harder structure.

3

Configure the Day 2 merge

Set re-entry rules across flights, whether advancement is based on best-stack or accumulated chips, and how the combined field is reseated once every flight has finished.

Re-entry across flights

Players may register for more than one starting flight; advancement is based on their best surviving stack, or on chips accumulated across every flight played.

Single-flight entry

Each player is limited to one starting flight, with no re-entry into a later Day 1 once eliminated.

Built to pay off on both sides of the table

Multi-Flight Tournaments give players more ways in and more chances to qualify, while giving operators a way to run a massive field without ever overcrowding a single day.

For players

  • Flexibility to pick whichever starting day fits their schedule.
  • Multiple chances to qualify for Day 2, if re-entry across flights is allowed.
  • A shot at the same huge prize pool and final table as everyone else, from any flight.
  • Smaller, more comfortable starting fields on each individual flight day.

For operators

  • Run a massive field without overcrowding a single day or room.
  • Bigger overall fields and prize pools, driven by multiple entry opportunities per player.
  • The proven structure behind the WSOP Main Event and every other major series.
  • More registrations from players who'd otherwise miss a single fixed start date.
