A Battle Royale-style multi-level tournament: survive each level to advance, or bust trying — only the players who reach the final level are eligible for payouts.
Survive the level, round after round
Survival MTT is a Battle Royale-style multi-level tournament format: the Top N players from each level advance to the next, with everyone else eliminated — all inside a single session. Loosely inspired by the elimination format of the Fall Guys video game, it swaps the usual "accumulate chips" mindset for something closer to a survival contest: stay alive long enough to reach the final level.
Each level can run its own game type, so the rotation can move from Hold'em, to Omaha, to 7 Card Stud, and beyond as the field advances. That turns Survival MTT into a genuine all-round skill test — players need to be sharp in whichever game the level throws at them to keep surviving, not just strong at one.
Every level can be configured to end once a target number of players remain, once a set blind level is reached, or both — and the choice materially changes strategy: a player-count target rewards patience and survival, while a blind-level target forces the field to play faster and take on more risk as antes and blinds climb.
It's similar in spirit to a Multi-Flight Tournament, but instead of spreading the field across multiple starting days, the whole event runs through every level in one sitting. It's also a distinctive format in the space — currently only GGPoker offers a comparable style of event — which makes it a strong way for an operator to stand out with something players won't find everywhere else.
Top N advance, per level
Only a set number of survivors from each level move on — the rest are eliminated on the spot.
Reset stack, every level
Each level starts fresh — the goal shifts from "accumulate chips" to "survive to the next round."
A new game every level
Levels can rotate through different game types, rewarding players who are strong across all of them.
All in one session
Every level plays out in a single sitting — no waiting for a Day 2, no multi-day commitment.
Setting it up from the admin panel
Operators build a Survival MTT by defining at least 2 levels (more are supported), each with its own advancement trigger — with the next level starting immediately once the current one's condition is met.
Choose the advancement trigger
Set each level to end once a target number of players remain, or once a set blind level is reached — each changes the strategy of the level in a different way.
Keep the pace with turbo levels
Configure fast, turbo-style blind increases within each level so the format stays sharp — without turbo pacing, players can stall out limping and folding instead of playing to survive.
Build the level sequence
Configure a minimum of 2 levels, in any order, each launching automatically the moment the previous one's condition is reached. Every level always starts with a fresh reset stack.
Player-count trigger
The level ends once a set number of players remain — the most commonly used setup for this format.
Blind-level trigger
The level ends once play reaches a set blind level, forcing faster, higher-variance decisions as it approaches.
